| I'm only charging $2 so I can tell my wife I'm not going to run up the electricity bill. I will be providing coolaid and iced tea.
If people would prefer to pay $10 and I handled the snacks, other drinks and dinner, I could do that too. I'm not sure what people would prefer. |

| I would vote to pay $10, just to make it fair to the Host/Hostess. Of course the food would be nice... not required... but it would be nice... |

| As a guest, $10 is a good and fair ammount to pay for a LAN party. I think most would agree and should be able to come up with it. It helps cover your expenses, power bill, etc. I will gladly pay you $10. Whatever you provide with that $10 is up to you. |

| Don't worry Wolfjet, most people are noobs at this game. The game has a steep learning curve. It doesn't take long to learn the first person shooter aspect of it, but learning all about everything takes awhile. I still haven't learned how to do certain things, like lazing targets for other players in aircraft. Some people actually specialize at certain aspects of the game. Some learn how to use artillery effectively, some people like the combat flight aspect of the game, and others the command aspect. It's like a big military playground. |

| I played the Demo Saturday night and Sunday morning. I must have done Basic Training atleast 10 times before I could finally complete it. I shot myself with the rocket, shot my buddy trying to rescue him, shot the cows, hit ESC too many times, hit the restart button instead of continue at the wrong time, got killed by the AI after the rocket range, etc. I did finally complete it though. I was happy! Parachuting was fun. I rather enjoyed it. I made the mark after the second jump. Next, I tried flying a helicopter. I was able to get the transport helicopter to fly level and straight and complete the mission. But the attack copter was totally different! It would get tilted just a little bit and would start moving sideways. Then it gained speed very quickly. It flipped over many times and I crashed many times. Luckily, I wasnt the only ARMA 2 n00b! Wolfjet was online and was working on the same things I was. We played multiplayer DM once. But I hit ESC too many times afterward on the stats screen and it quit the game. It didnt even ask me if I was sure I wanted to disconnect from the server. Then I had to go do stuff with the family. So I couldnt go back and play. I thought about ARMA 2 all day Sunday though. I'm itching to get back to playing. I need to at least complete the Boot Camp missions! |

| Welcome to the LAN 4D7. You only need one seat for your monitor, but if it is possible, please bring a smaller monitor. Assuming 16 people were to show up, I would only have on average about 5-6 amps available for each gamer's complete system. That would be about 600 to 700 watts. I think I will be dropping the total number of attendies to around 12 though to stay on the conservative side of power consumption. There are alot of other people with SLI and crossfire attending as well. |

| Game server- I have an additional P4 3.0 GHz computer with Windows XP installed that I will be using as our game server for this event. I have got the dedicated server software for ARMA and ARMA2 set up on it right now. I would like to know what other games people are interested in so I can have dedicated server software for those games installed before the LAN begins. Another option if people are familiar with the dedicated server software for thier favorite games, is to bring a disk with the software on it. The game server is a secondary computer of mine so feel free to hop on it and install whatever you like; well almost anything. |
